With his sixth release on KOMPAKT, Jonas Bering proves, that he is a master of Techno romance. Especially in times where consent Techno is rather defined over technique than over feelings, a heart-controlled beast like Jonas Bering is urgently needed. After all, there should be more than just rough afterhour-beating and preset-studies of Ableton Live. The title track „Behind the silence“ is in vinyl pressed love to harmony. Call it kitsch if you want. No problem. On the B-side are three tender stories from the big ambienthouse textbook. You actually don´t need anymore heating. It´s „The little mermaid“ in the mix 2006.
