We love to repeat ourselves! Hence we start the new year just like the old one. What could be more festive than kicking off with a new Partial Arts release. For the forgetful ones: Partial Arts are Ewan Pearson and Alastair Usher. Their latest effort „Telescope“ could easily be tagged as Krautdisco. It‘s hymnic, epic, slightly psychedelic, bacchanal and hovers gently over the dancefloor. The notorious thump comes via the deft hands of Vito Roccoforte who normally works in The Rapture‘s shooting gallery. Somehow this sounds like new music. Something we can‘t match with anything we‘ve heard so far. Accordingly, Mr Matt Edwards aka Radioslave submitted his most mature remix to date. Ewan Pearson says: „Erm, it‘s hands down the darkest, scariest, most out, avant, abstract, least commercial thing he‘s done in years. 13 minutes of drums, fx and weirdness. Nothing else. The Wire will love it but it ain‘t gonna be an Ibiza hit.“ We totally agree! Right, right, right.
