Shipping and return policies for Kompakt

Shipping Info
We ship goods worldwide (except Russia). Our shipping partners are Deutsche Post AG, DHL and Asendia.

Germany:

Delivery time is max. 4 working days upon receipt of payment.

Orders with a total order weight of up to 31.5 kg: 4.50 € - DHL Parcel – National tracked & signed, incl.
insurance.

EU Member States & Rest of the World:

Due to current worldwide situation, delivery times cannot be determined precisely at present.

Since July 1st, 2022 international shipping rates have been adjusted. Our goods are either shipped with the German Post/DHL, or with our new partner Asendia, a global mail and parcel solutions company. Thus, the shipping costs can vary. You will see the exact shipping costs for each country during the order process or at checkout.

According to the modernisation of VAT for cross-border e-commerce within the EU (One-Stop Shop "OSS"), our prices include the VAT (on the invoice) of the respective EU Member State as of July 1st, 2021.

Unclaimed/Undeliverable Shipments (Germany & International):

In the event that any shipment remains unclaimed or undeliverable at destination (i.e. the shipment is not picked up within 7 working days at a DHL branch in Germany, or at the local post office at the destination in Europe/World within 4 weeks, starting the day after notification of DHL / Kompakt, KOMPAKT reserves the right to charge the customer for any fees incurred for return postage due:

Return shipping fee international: up to 20 €
Return shipping fee Germany: 4 €

All our goods are shipped tracked, signed and insured, to both domestic and international destinations.

Invoices:
As of March 2023, we will switch to simple electronic invoices via e-mail instead of paper invoices to reduce environmental impact. If you need a PDF invoice, please send us an email to laden@kompakt.fm. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Return Policy
According to the Distance Selling Act(pursuant to Appendix 1 as referred to in Article 246a section 1 (2) sentence 2 of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB), the customer (consumer) who acts for private purposes has the right to withdraw from the contract with Kompakt.

Instructions for Consumers / Right of Withdrawal

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods; or in the case of a contract where multiple items have been ordered within one order, and the items will be shipped separately, the withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the last item of the entire order; or in the case of a contract where delivery of the goods takes place in staggered consignments or parts, the withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last consignment or item.

The right of withdrawal is excluded for delivery of tickets (in general) and for unsealed audio or video recordings. A product is considered to be unsealed if the protective film of the media bears a notice that the opening of this film is to be regarded as such an unsealing. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you have to inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, by fax or e-mail). If you make use of this option, we will confirm receipt of such a withdrawal immediately (e.g. by e-mail). In order to ensure the withdrawal period, it is sufficient if you send the notification about exercising the right of withdrawal before the end of the withdrawal period.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of withdrawal of 14 days has expired. You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for a possible depreciation in value of the goods, if this depreciation in value can be traced back to you, with regard to the handling of the goods other than what is necessary, to ascertain the nature, properties and functioning of the goods.
